We're so excited for the upcoming Digital Health Summit at CES! With nearly 180,000 attendees last year, CES is the largest and most influential global conference in consumer technology. The Digital Health Summit, now in its 8th year as part of CES, focuses on how the changing landscape of technology will impact healthcare now and in the future. Coinciding with CES, the Digital Health Summit runs from January 6-9, 2017, in Las Vegas.
Seniorlink’s EVP, Chief Product Officer, George Kassabgi will be presenting at the DHS panel titled “How Messaging Will Emerge as the Backbone of Healthcare” on January 7th:
KPCB’s Mary Meeker recently declared the latest internet trend: “Messaging will become the new mobile home screen.” With the success of messaging platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, conversations are evolving from social to business-related. Leading verticals such as banking and travel are now leveraging these platforms and healthcare is next in line.
With today’s modern messaging platforms, health providers will have unprecedented reach and the information shared will turn into actionable intelligence for health systems, who will use it to predict and prevent events (like hospitalizations or falls) that contribute disproportionately to the cost of care.
